Our Journey
Founded by Dr. Sujith Sudusinghe and Mrs. Dilumka Wimalagunasekara after Dr. Sujith’s graduation as a veterinary surgeon, Vetpharma emerged from a vision to empower Sri Lanka’s veterinary industry with locally produced, quality-assured products. After working in the private sector, Dr. Sujith pursued his entrepreneurial passion by establishing a small office and manufacturing unit in 2016.
A turning point came in 2018, when the company made the strategic decision to cease all product imports and commit fully to local manufacturing. In 2024, Vetpharma proudly launched its modern manufacturing facility equipped for tablets, syrups, ointments, and shampoos-marking a significant milestone with the introduction of new tablet formulations to the market.
